The brand is named after my mother, Galina, whose spirit continues to inspire everything I create. Through her, I learned how profoundly clothing shapes confidence, presence, and the way a woman feels when she enters a room.
For years, women came to me with the same frustration: finding elegant, modern eveningwear truly designed for curvy bodies felt nearly impossible. Too often, plus-size women were expected to compromise on style, fit, or quality. I knew it did not have to be that way.
Galinique was created to celebrate curves, not hide them.
Our goal is to design and curate eveningwear that allows women to feel powerful, confident, and proud during life’s most meaningful moments: weddings, formal celebrations, proms, cocktail events, and special occasions that deserve thoughtful design and exceptional fit.
Galinique specializes in eveningwear in sizes 10 - 32, depending on style and availability. The Galinique line is designed and produced in-house, alongside carefully curated pieces from select designers worldwide, all chosen with a focus on comfort, flattering silhouettes, and timeless elegance.

Gill Shuster, founder and creative director of Galinique.
Gill is an entrepreneur with years of experience in the international eveningwear world. For her, fashion has always been about confidence, presence, and self-expression.
Throughout her career, she worked closely with women of all ages and body types and saw how often women with curves were overlooked or underserved. Galinique was born from that understanding, and from her personal story, to create eveningwear designed for real women, real bodies, and real moments.
This brand is her way of empowering women and redefining how plus-size eveningwear is designed and experienced.
